About Andi
First and foremost, I am a woman who smiles constantly, laughs often and enjoys life on a consistent basis. I pay attention to the choices I make, the ways I think and the company I keep because I know that what I put out to the world will come back to me. I am creating a healthy lifestyle full of integrity, passion, and outright happiness!
Coaching is a natural fit for me. I am a positive person, I adore others, and my gift in life is to facilitate great lives for my clients by helping them live intentionally and in the moment, offering their best to the world by connecting with their inner sense of who they are. Over time I have found that my energy and wisdom are best directed towards taking meaningful action. That being the case, my inclination is to serve as a change catalyst for those around me.
I have been coaching for a long time. My school age conversations frequently began by inviting my friends into conversation with lines like:
- “What it is like to be you today?”
- “Tell me a story”
- “Talk to me about something that makes you happy”
Blind to my future profession, I did this simply because my curiosity lies in relating with others, their challenges and their interests. With each job I’ve held, I was unknowingly the coach — working to motivate, inspire and connect my students & colleagues with what they knew to be best for them. Applauding successes, championing self knowledge and advocating passion for those around me has been my way of life. My professional experiences have led me to facilitate health improvement programs, youth development curricula, leadership training modules, and hone my skills as a personal growth guru.
Educationally, I am a philosophy student who chose to earn a degree in Human Services. I called Villanova University my home for 5 years, staying on to complete a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and work for the Student Life department. It was at Villanova that I discovered my passion for facilitating teambuilding programs, leadership trainings, and all manner of experiential education. The skills I have garnered in years as a facilitator continue to inform and inspire my coaching practice today. Highlighting the playful, social nature of personal learning is one of the principal benefits I am able to offer my clients.
In the exploratory few years following my graduate work I traveled cross country, made a home in Oregon, moved back to NY, reconnected with my sense of independence and recognized that making decisions based on what I knew was right for me wasn’t selfish or short sighted, but rather the key to living. I developed the self-assurance to pursue the adventures I had been holding out on, and to this day I am a student of consciously choosing my life’s path.
An avid outdoors-woman I enjoy both tele and alpine skiing, rock climbing, kayaking, running, biking, horseback riding, camping and plain old breathing in the outdoors.
